I am a PhD student since January 2020. I studied Biology in Madrid (Spain) and at the moment I finished my Master in Integrative Neuroscience at the Otto von Guericke University (Magdeburg) in Dec. 2019. My project is concerned with the dopaminergic modulation of circuit excitability and plasticity in the lateral amygdala to further study the role of D1 receptor in the modulation of NPYergic interneurons in the amygdala. To study this circuit I employ in vitro electrophysiology in slices.
