Elif Gizem Kain, MSc

I am a PhD student in the Stork Lab and the SynAge Graduate Program. My PhD project deals with investigating the DG circuits in pattern separation and cognitive flexibility and the role of muscarinic acetylcholine receptor (M1R) in the DG  in healthy ageing. I use behavioral tasks, DREADDs, RAM labeling, and immunohistochemistry for my research.
